How to Reach ICAR-CRIJAF HQ and Regional Research Stations

Central Seed Research Station for Jute & Allied Fibres (ICAR-CRIJAF) is located in Bud Bud village, Galsi-I Block, Purba Burdwan district, West Bengal, on NH-2. The station was established at its present location in 1956. It is situated between Burdwan and Durgapur, about 35 km from Durgapur and 40 km from Burdwan town. Frequent bus and auto services are available.

Ramie Research Station (ICAR-Central Research Institute for Jute and Allied Fibres) is located at Village Kamargaon, P.O. Sorbhog, Barpeta District, Assam. Sisal Research Station (ICAR-CRIJAF) is located in Farmpada area of Bamra Block in Sambalpur district of Odisha on the Bamra-Sambalpur road. The station was established at its present location in 1962. It is situated about 45 km from Jharsuguda town. Bus and train services are available and the journey takes about one hour from Jharsuguda.

Sunnhemp Research Station is situated in Bela Pratapgarh District of Uttar Pradesh. Pratapgarh is well connected by road, rail and air. The station is close to Pratapgarh Bus Stand and Pratapgarh Junction, making local travel convenient.
